I posted the under drawing for this painting a while back.
When I work I normally lay out all the colour loosely so I know what’s going on with the whole composition.
After that I start on the face and pretty much finish it, then I move on to the chest… and so on.
Since the face is effectively finished I thought I’d post it as part of the work in progress.
